关于PSP新型号的传闻这两年似乎一直不断，而往往传着传着就变成了真的。PSP-3000传完并证实后，这次，该轮到4000了。

据国外著名游戏媒体VG247报道，他们得到了一个“高度可信”的消息，是有关PSP的新型号PSP-4000型的。据VG247说，这个“高度可信”的消息称PSP-4000将在PSP现有的技术基础上对主机的造型进行完全彻底的再设计，并且PSP-4000将拥有滑盖设计，就像那张流传已久的著名图片一样。

VG247称，PSP-4000也许将于今年的E3展上公布，或者是GDC上。而事实上国外另一著名游戏媒体Eurogamer在去年12月时已经提到过PSP-4000将在2009年与世人见面的消息。结合前一阵PSP2消息不断，而索尼方面则一直不断出面否认PSP2的存在，如今看来，也许他们说的是真的——那只是PSP-4000而已。

*Big big big.....difference if compare both of the pictures. I can see the shadow of..... GAMEBOY ADVANCE SP XD. Ok, that's just the rumor, will PSP 4000 design like that? If really the design is like this, then i looking forward on it. What's the difference? It becomes slide psp. Smaller of course, resolution? I guess better than the old versioon psp. Another things i concern is the battery, since the console become smaller, the battery sure also become small, then it will last long for how many hours? As the rumours say, it will be released at the end of 2009. Let's see if it will come trues or not.
